Alex Gelbcke to take over the role of CEO of Fource, an LKQ Europe holding company, being responsible for the Netherlands, Belgium and France markets
As of 1st September, Alex Gelbcke will take over the role of CEO of Fource, an LKQ Europe holding company, with a transition period in place until the end of 2020. He will be responsible for managing the Fource companies in the Netherlands, Belgium and France.
Gelbcke has a vast knowledge of the automotive aftermarket. He has nearly thirty years of experience in the automotive industry. For 17 years he worked at Tenneco Automotive as Vice President and General Manager EMEA. He then became CEO of BHIR Europe, a specialised distributor of aftermarket engine parts.
The current Fource CEO, Sinon Galvin, will return to the US and take on a different role within the company. He said:
“I am confident that Alex Gelbcke’s unique combination of industry experience and interpersonal skills will enable him to take the Benelux and French teams to the next level.” He added: “He is an ideal successor and a great choice to continue the market evolution that started with my visionary predecessor, Ardiaan Roggeveen.”
