In recent months, the entire ADA (National Association of Vehicle Demolishers (Italy)) structure has been committed to resolving the serious difficulties that the collection centres for vehicles to be demolished have encountered in the application of the new electronic register of end-of-life vehicles (RVFU) and to supporting the associated companies in solving their problems connected to the new electronic register.

Despite the numerous initial critical issues, the Association has never stopped working to propose and indicate solutions. On July 2, President Calò sent a communication to the President of the Council, Hon. Meloni, and to the competent Ministers, putting forward concrete proposals to resolve the problems related to the application of the Ecobonus despite the technical problems of the system. Subsequently, on July 18, he sent a second communication to all interested bodies, suggesting other technical solutions.
The President had technical meetings with ACI-Informatica and MCTC following which solutions were implemented that resolved the main critical issues.
“Our constant commitment, close collaboration with the competent authorities and the monitoring carried out by the Association have led to the finding that the RVFU System is now functioning normally, despite some shortcomings that we hope to improve within the next few weeks. This is allowing the collection centers to operate efficiently and above all punctually so as not to jeopardize the provision of Ecobonuses.
The ADA will continue to monitor the situation and support its members, ensuring that the system remains operational. In September we hope to be able to start the second phase of the program, allowing all operators to easily remove end-of-life vehicles directly from the RVFU system. We would like to thank all those who collaborated and supported our actions to achieve this important result.”
