Aniel Marketplace has entered into a major agreement with Opisto, the leading player in the used automotive parts sector in France. This unique partnership will ultimately provide access to millions of circular economy parts for repair professionals via the Aniel Marketplace platform.

Aniel Marketplace takes a decisive step toward promoting the circular economy. The Faubourg Group entity has signed a framework agreement with Opisto, a specialist in the online sale of used automotive parts. This significant partnership will enable 200 authorized vehicle dismantling centers (VDAs) using Opisto’s solutions to open online shops on Aniel Marketplace, exponentially increasing the platform’s global offering of reused parts (PIEC).
Laurent ASSIS-ARANTES, CEO of Opisto, said:
“After extensive collaboration between our teams, Opisto’s solutions are ready, and our VDA partners are eager to meet the growing market demand for circular economy parts.”
In an inflationary context, opting for used parts, which are at least 50% cheaper than new parts, is an effective way for repair professionals to reduce repair costs. The gradual arrival of Opisto’s VDAs on Aniel Marketplace has been widely welcomed by the platform’s auto body clients. Notably, two major Opisto centers, Auto Pièces 79 and Tilt Auto 56, have recently opened their shops on Aniel Marketplace, adding over 120,000 part listings to the platform.
Adrien Flin, Commercial Director of Aniel Marketplace, said:
“This agreement marks a major milestone in Aniel Marketplace’s strategy to simplify access for repair professionals to all the products they need. It notably expands their options in terms of part selection. Used parts already constitute a substantial portion of our marketplace’s offerings.”
Supporting New Regulatory Challenges and Sustainability Goals
This agreement aligns perfectly with the CSR strategy of the Toulon-based company. Since January 1, 2016, French law (2015-992) mandates that repair professionals systematically include circular economy parts in their quotes. However, despite their willingness, many face challenges in implementing this regulation due to insufficient stock, the difficulty of finding rare or unavailable parts, or the need to contact multiple VDAs to fulfill their requirements.
Laurent ASSIS-ARANTES summarized:
“We are thrilled to join forces with Aniel Marketplace to help repair professionals overcome these obstacles and incorporate reused parts into their quotes. Our VDAs are ready to support them in this challenge.”
Tailor-Made Partnership for Success
This collaboration between two major players in the parts distribution market brings significant benefits to Opisto’s VDAs, including:
● Preferential sales conditions and streamlined access to an additional sales channel targeting a professional client base.
● Enhanced technical integration: Aniel Marketplace and Opisto have developed a new technical connector between their platforms, facilitating the integration of VDA inventory on the marketplace.
This initiative underscores Aniel Marketplace’s commitment to promoting circular economy actors among its auto body clients.
The strategy is proving effective: over the past six months, sales of used parts on Aniel Marketplace have grown by nearly 30%. With Opisto joining the platform, this growth is expected to accelerate, meeting the current needs of repair professionals.
