Autocirc acquires Borås Bildemontering AB – reaching 70 companies and strengthening its presence where the journey once began.
Autocirc is proud to announce the acquisition of Borås Bildemontering AB, one of Sweden’s leading companies in vehicle dismantling and sales of high-quality reused car parts. With the acquisition, Borås Bildemontering becomes the 70th company in the Autocirc Group, an important milestone for the organization. The location is also symbolic, as company number 70 is added in Borås, where Autocirc’s history began in 2019. The strategic acquisition strengthens Autocirc’s presence and leading position in the Swedish market and, at the same time, marks another important step forward in the company’s European growth journey.
Borås Bildemontering was founded in 1934 by Gunnar Persson, born and raised in Borås, and has a long and solid tradition in the Swedish automotive industry. The company has been in family ownership for three generations and currently has around twenty employees. The company dismantles and recycles around 1,200 vehicles each year, mainly from leading insurance companies.
Through the acquisition, Borås Bildemontering further strengthens Autocirc’s presence in the Swedish market, increases the group’s share of the national dismantling flow and creates added value in Autocirc’s circular ecosystem. The acquisition also contributes to the continued optimization of the group’s integrated value chain.

Borås Bildemontering is located in Brämhult, Borås. The company has 20 employees and operates on a total area of 45,000 m². Åsa Post continues in her role as CEO.
