Attendees can expect to be in wonderland at the 79th ARA Convention and Expo poised to take place at the Walt Disney World Dolphin Resort in Orlando, FL on 22 – 24 September 2022. With the success of the 78th convention clear in everyone’s mind and COVID restrictions being lifted every day, this year’s event is hoping to be the very best ever by offering something for everyone that attends.
Last year, delegates attended the two-day convention in Dallas, Texas, and had the opportunity to attend separate presentations and workshops. Topics included Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), The Future of Mobility, The Future Is Here: High Voltage Vehicles and How to Succeed Together on eBay, to name but a few. As well as the wealth of information available, there was also the opportunity to network throughout the event and various functions, and also attend the trade show running alongside the event.
As one can imagine, the planning of such an event takes many months involving dedicated planning committees and meetings. This year, the ARA and the Annual Convention Educational Programming Committee aim to develop a strong, comprehensive educational program to appeal to the many aspects of the automotive recycling industry. The Committee strives to construct a rich program addressing the immediate needs of the professional automotive recycling community as well as provide opportunities to discover and discuss upcoming trends, techniques, best practices, and issues.
With the above in mind, the ARA Annual Convention Educational Programming Committee is now soliciting presentations for the 79th Annual Convention and Exposition. If you or your company wish to draw attention to the topics that the auto recycling community are facing today or in the future, and you wish to share your thoughts, then now is the time to inform the ARA and be part of its 79th convention.
Sandy Blalock, Executive Director, Automotive Recyclers Association (ARA) said:
“We really look forward to welcoming more of our international members and automotive recycling industry supporters back in person this year for the 79th Annual ARA Convention & Exposition.” She added: “Our volunteer leaders and staff are in the planning process right now and we want to hear what automotive recyclers and employees from around the globe want to see in Orlando. What educational seminars and training will benefit our international members? Give us your ideas!”
