The recent appointment of Bruce Bacon as the President of SAS Forks, effective from August 1, 2023, has been announced. Bruce will be reporting to Tenamec’s Executive Chairman/CEO.
Bruce Bacon brings with him a wealth of experience, having spent more than three decades in leadership roles within companies that cater to the same key market niches as SAS Forks, such as Scrap Processing, Auto Recycling, and Salvage. Notably, he held progressive sales and marketing positions at LaBounty from 1990 to 1997, where he greatly valued his mentorship under founder Roy LaBounty.
Genesis, a Superior, Wisconsin-based company founded by Bruce in 1998, stands as a testament to his leadership prowess. Under his guidance until 2009, Genesis witnessed remarkable growth, achieving annual revenues of $66.5M. Furthermore, Bruce co-founded Exodus Machines in 2009, a Superior-based enterprise known for its advanced rubber-tired wheel loader products that have revolutionized the material handling industry. Notably, Bruce played a pivotal role in negotiating global alliances with industry giants like Caterpillar and establishing other significant initiatives.
Throughout his career, Bruce has been associated with companies generating annual revenues exceeding $150,000,000. His influential presence in the scrap processing, auto recycling, salvage, construction demolition, and material handling markets, which also align with SAS Forks’ focus, is widely recognized. A hallmark of Bruce’s leadership style has been his personable and dedicated approach to employee engagement, development, mentorship, and support, a quality that resonated from his early days at Genesis.
