US-based auto recycling software company Car-Part.com has issued a series of relief initiatives to help their customers as they face various hardships resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic.
In a statement on their company’s website, Vice President Roger Schroder and Founding CEO Jeff Schroder outlined a series of measure that Car-Part.com will introduce as the crisis continues.
The measures include a temporary reduction in fees and a hold on accounts between March and June 2020. They are also offering free upgrades on selected tools and services to help maximise sales and efficiency opportunities. The statement also encouraged dismantlers to use the enforced downtime productively and pointed out that their series of online training was still available to their customers for no charge and how they could be contacted to help set up employees working remotely.
In their commitment to supporting their employees, customers and communities, they also outlined how they are investing in technology. So that their team can work remotely while still providing optimal service and keeping them safe and cohering to the companies pandemic response plan.
Furthermore, they are working with industry organisations to help the auto recycling industry and that they are donating up to $30,000 to an ARA COVID-19 relief fund and a further $10,000 CAD to the Auto Recyclers of Canada (ARC) COVID-19 relief fund.
