Delfincar adds Autodesguace Otoniel to Spanish ATF network, boosting parts stock beyond 300,000 lines

Delfincar has added Autodesguace Otoniel to its Spanish authorised treatment centre (CAT) network to expand capacity, improve workshop service levels and deepen its footprint in the Valencian Community. The group says the deal lifts available stock above 300,000 parts references and supports a wider strategy focused on digitalisation, quality assurance and circular aftermarket growth.

Delfincar has brought Autodesguace Otoniel into its national network of authorised treatment centres (CAT), a move it says supports the group’s growth strategy and expands capacity for recycled, remanufactured and OEM spare parts. The integration strengthens the company’s presence in the Valencian Community and is positioned as part of Delfín Grupo’s wider push on digitalisation and service efficiency across the automotive life cycle.

Valencian expansion and wider service capacity

Delfincar said the addition of Autodesguace Otoniel increases its nationwide reach and improves responsiveness for professional customers, including fleets, businesses and workshops. The group framed the transaction as a further step in a roadmap set out in recent months, following the appointment of José Carlos del Valle as CEO.

The company said the aim is to build a more sustainable and adaptable aftermarket model, with greater operational efficiency and stronger digital services aligned to evolving customer expectations.

Stock scale and fleet-age context

As part of the integration, Delfincar said the combined stock now exceeds 300,000 part references, with inventory “continuously rotating and growing” and an average lifespan of 5–6 years. The group positioned this as a differentiator in Spain, where it said the vehicle fleet averages 15 years in age—an indicator of sustained demand for reliable reuse and remanufactured components.

José Carlos del Valle, CEO of Delfín Grupo, said:

“The incorporation of Autodesguace Otoniel responds to our obsession with quality and customer service. By adding the capacity of the Valencian Community’s leading authorized center to our network, we not only grow in size but also in reach and responsiveness. Our goal is for any professional workshop to receive the parts it needs, with Delfín Grupo’s guaranteed quality, as quickly as possible.

It is an honor that a company with Otoniel’s track record, talent, and prestige trusts Delfín Grupo’s project. We share the same DNA as a family business and a passion for the automobile. Our priority now is to integrate people, learn from their experience, and provide them with our technological tools so that together we can build the best future for sustainable aftersales.”

Manuel Catalá, General Director of Autodesguaces Otoniel, said:

“Joining Delfín Grupo represents an opportunity to consolidate what we have built and accelerate our growth. We feel great pride in being part of such an ambitious new project.”

A ‘360 partner’ model for circular aftermarket growth

Delfín Grupo said the acquisition supports its “360 partner model”, combining in-house technology development, multi-channel operations and a stated commitment to advancing circular economy outcomes in the automotive aftermarket. The group highlighted its intention to strengthen integration between dismantling, parts supply and service delivery as it scales its authorised treatment and parts business.
