Febelauto Celebrates 25 Years with Circular Party

On January 14, 2025, Febelauto celebrated its 25th anniversary with a vibrant “Circular Party” at the Lounge Club in Brussels Expo during the Motor Show. The event highlighted Febelauto’s commitment to sustainability and circularity in the automotive industry, with creative themes reflected in the décor, entertainment, and program.

Febelauto Celebrates 25 Years with Circular Party pThe evening began with a performance by Trashbeatz, a trio that creates music using recycled car parts, setting a festive and innovative tone. Febelauto Director Catherine Lenaerts and Chairman Henry Wattel addressed the 200 guests, reflecting on the organization’s 25 years of leadership in sustainable vehicle and battery recycling. A fun quiz engaged attendees by testing their knowledge of Febelauto’s history.

Chef Thibault Granville designed a menu emphasizing circularity, offering a variety of round-themed dishes such as sushi, tartlets, macarons, and doughnuts. The culinary creativity aligned seamlessly with the event’s sustainable message.

The night continued with music by DJ Steff, who energized the crowd with a lively mix and circular-themed lighting. Model Mia Moisa opened the dance floor wearing a unique upcycled outfit by designer Valentine Tinchant, featuring materials sourced from discarded car seats. Her “CAR-COUTURE” collection showcased how fashion and circularity can combine innovatively.

The event also offered networking opportunities, with key stakeholders and partners celebrating the organization’s achievements. A photo booth added a playful touch, allowing attendees to capture memories.

This milestone celebration not only marked 25 years of Febelauto’s success but also reinforced its dedication to sustainability and innovation in the automotive recycling sector. The Circular Party was a fitting tribute to its mission and vision for the future.
