Five Star, the network of 540 body shops in France, recently announced the partnership with Back2Car, the recycled auto parts brand of Alliance Automotive Group for the distribution of upgraded spare parts.
The collaboration demonstrates Five Star’s reaffirmed desire to promote the use of PIEC by providing its body shops with parts that are immediately available and quickly delivered.
With six recycling centers spread across the territory, Back2Car is able to deliver orders on D+1 through its distribution network. The centers have an online platform bringing together the 400,000 parts offered by Back2Car, identified according to their manufacturer’s reference and accompanied by detailed photos to ensure compatibility with the vehicle to be repaired. Back2Car thus enables Five Star bodybuilders to offer a competitive alternative to new parts for the repair of older vehicles whose value does not justify expensive repairs. This is a considerable advantage for the end customer, who can benefit from significantly lower prices than on the new market, as well as a 2-year warranty on bodywork parts and one year on mechanical components.
Luc Fournier, Technical Director and reused parts of Alliance Automotive Group said:
“We have been able to position ourselves as the leader in reused parts in France by cultivating very high standards in terms of quality and services, particularly in the speed and care taken in shipping parts.”
Catherine Duyck, Five Star Marketing and Services Manager added:
“Back2Car is a natural partner for Five Star. The company fully meets our expectations in terms of parts quality, but also service and logistics. Five Star coachbuilders are already convinced since they are already 270 to call on Back2Car. We are convinced that this collaboration is destined to become permanent. Moreover, we plan to integrate access to the Back2Car order site directly from our Five Star Galaxy platform.”
