GLOBAL PRE was created in 2011 to respond to the obligation of the automotive professional to inform the consumer about the possibility of repairing their vehicle with a reused part. 89 VHU-approved centers are shareholders of the company and, with other member centers, distribute their parts throughout France.
Part Distribution with a Unified Nomenclature and Shared Catalogue
GLOBAL PRE have created a unique nomenclature and a universal reference for each reused part, recognized by all ERPs in the profession to can created a shared stock.
We can now distribute this centralized stock through a catalogue widely used in the world of automobile repair: the ATELIO CHIFFRAGE catalogue from our partner INFOPRODIGITAL.
This catalogue provides information on availability, prices, characteristics and access to original part numbers. Rich in more than a million guaranteed, traced parts produced by certified recyclers distributed throughout France, this catalogue aims to allow professionals to easily access immediately available stock.
Harnessing Diversity to Deliver Unique and Accessible Reused Parts
Independent of any commercial, industrial…, our group interest draws its strength from the diversity of its centers of all sizes, which can use different treatment processes.
This diversity is a major asset for offering a typology of pieces that are varied and, important, unique in our marketplace. Indeed, the origin of PRE-source vehicles is heterogeneous:
– Insurance companies with recent vehicles
– Individuals who get rid of their vehicle at the end of its life but maintain it, on which we can still sample the part in working order. These are generally older vehicles whose parts are becoming rare.
– Public domains, impounds, car dealerships, etc.
Our marketplace, www.mapiecedoccase.fr responds to the many challenges of purchasing power and reparability; searches are fluid and efficient thanks to the search by registration and OE reference.
Enabling Circular Economy Adoption in Automotive Repair
After several regulations, the decree, which entered into force in April 2019, really highlighted the piece from the circular economy and strengthened its use by professionals. In addition, current environmental, economic, and societal concerns are a real challenge for players in the automotive world. Our group, made up of independent ELV centers, can answer this question.
We have developed our tools to facilitate the search, purchase, and use of spare parts and their reuse in vehicle repair and maintenance. We offer a command interface between the ATELIO CHIFFRAGE catalogue and our marketplace, a centralized invoice, and a payment at the end of the month.
We also seek to raise awareness among private companies about CSR policy and improve their scoring thanks to the use of parts from the circular economy in the maintenance of their fleet and offer searches filtered by CO² emission of deliveries.
We work together with networks of experts and insurers, parts prescribers used, to encourage professionals to broaden the types of parts used for reuse. We communicate on the QUALICERT professional certification, which guarantees a treatment process, traceability, and expertise of our mechanical parts with professionals who can mount them without worrying about the liability involved.
Empowering Recyclers: Expanding Services and Partnerships for a Resilient Network
General Director Caroline Michalik aims to give new impetus to the GLOBAL PRE network, enable partner centers to benefit from shared services that help them in their daily lives and bring notoriety to the network with professionals.
At the start of 2024, a partnership was signed with a supplier of adaptable bodywork parts in order to satisfy customers with a complete offer.
We are currently working on transport solutions, packaging, and equipment specific to the operation of ELV centers by relying on a working group made up of recyclers invested.
We are developing partnerships with a certain number of players in the sector who provide expertise, service, and support at the centers in our network.
In the current context of concentration worrying all French ELV centers, GLOBAL PRE strives to provide independence with a range of tools and services that remain available to all recyclers.
