Global PRE took center stage in the Circular Economy Village, at the Equip Auto 2025 in Paris from October 14 -18. reinforcing its leadership in the vehicle recycling sector. The group used the event to unveil a major evolution of its Mapiecedoccase marketplace, now featuring a multi-store mode tailored for professional networks, and to announce its expansion into the two-wheeler recycling market.
During his final appearance at Equip Auto as president of the recycling division of Mobilians, Patrick Poincelet emphasized the strong visibility achieved by the automotive recycling industry within the aftermarket ecosystem. The presence of numerous recyclers and circular economy specialists at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles confirmed the sector’s growing importance.
Among these players, Global PRE, which brings together 89 end-of-life vehicle (ELV) centers, showcased both its network and the Mapiecedoccase platform. Launched in 2021, this marketplace was created to streamline access to quality reused parts and to strengthen digital connections between dismantlers and repair professionals.
At a press briefing during the show, Caroline Michalik, General Manager of Global PRE, presented the new multi-store, white-label functionality of Mapiecedoccase. The concept enables garage networks, distributors, and repair professionals to create branded storefronts displaying up to one million reused parts (PIEC) under their own identity and visual style.
This model allows networks to operate virtual stores that sell reused parts under their own brand while maintaining control over their margins. It also provides a practical solution for expanding circular economy parts availability across professional networks.
Early adopters include the Ho Hio Hen network in Overseas France. Partner networks benefit from customized URLs, the ability to define their own pricing, and centralized monthly invoicing, ensuring smooth integration into their existing business systems.
The most in-demand parts on Mapiecedoccase continue to reflect common collision repair needs. Headlights, taillights, and mirrors remain best-sellers in small bodywork, while bumpers, hoods, and right front fenders lead large bodywork sales.
Global PRE is also preparing to extend its model to motorcycles and scooters, a segment with increasing potential as the number of end-of-life two-wheelers rises each year. According to data from ADEME, around 70,000 motorcycles reach the end of their life annually in France, largely due to insurance write-offs. The upcoming inclusion of these vehicles in the Recycle My Vehicle program highlights the growing need for structured recycling and reuse in this category.
Recognizing this opportunity, Global PRE has partnered with Quattroruote Professional in Italy to develop a specialized tool similar to costing software, based on a two-wheeler reference framework. The tool aims to support the cataloging, valuation, and marketing of reused motorcycle parts while facilitating shared stock management between dismantlers, repairers, and distributors active in the motorcycle sector.
Still in its early stages, the two-wheeler reuse market represents a promising growth area for professional recyclers. Global PRE intends to play a leading role in shaping this new branch of the circular economy.
