ICBR 2020 – a great success

International Congress for Battery Recycling ICBR 2020, a great success for the first on-site and virtual event.

ICBR 2020 - a great success p one

The 25th-anniversary edition of ICBR innovated this year and proposed a unique experience for delegates to choose between attending in person or online. All presentations, panel discussion and workshop were featured on-site and virtually for the delegates from around the globe, all seamlessly coordinated. Delegates exchanged with the European Commission live from Brussels and experts from many countries, and interviews with exhibitors and key industry players were streamed live to online delegates during the congress.

Did you miss it?

The on-site event has ended but if you were not able to travel to Salzburg this year you can still sign up to the online platform to have on-demand access to all presentations, interviews and workshop presented at the conference – industry insights, market drivers, trends and bottlenecks, the latest science and R&D and the current state of advancement of the evolving regulatory framework.

  • Learn how to transport waste batteries and equipment safely.
  • Listen to industry leaders exchanging on the options for improving the current European legislation.
  • Participate in the on-going technical discussions on recycling performance, technologies and economics.

You may have missed the magical Mozart evening and the great networking atmosphere with delegates very happy to be able to meet in person again, but you can still benefit from the online package and keep up to date.

ICBR 2021 will be held in Geneva, Switzerland from 22-24th September 2021.
