- INDRA and Opisto combine their expertise to create a European champion for the dismantling of end-of-life vehicles and the distribution of reused parts.
- This partnership meets a dual challenge: strengthening the digitalization of the sector and adapting to the new needs of repairers and insurers to deal with the 11 million vehicles that reach the end of their life every year in Europe.
- This merger is taking place through a capital strengthening of INDRA in Opisto, up to 47%, allowing both companies to make the most of this association without changing their respective strategies.
Among the leaders in France in their respective fields, INDRA and Opisto combine their ambitions to accelerate the development of their joint European activities.

– offer new digital solutions to its leading dismantling network in France with 350 approved centers;
– develop new markets for reused parts from 400,000 vehicles out of use treated annually.
Opisto is a leader in France in the computerization and online marketing of reused parts. With 7 million pieces in stock and more than €125M in gross merchandise value expected in 2024, INDRA intends, as part of its growth plan, to strengthen its expansion in Europe by relying on INDRA’s growth plan.
To succeed in this European expansion, INDRA and Opisto will deploy a shared strategic plan based on three key actions:
- Deploy a reference management system (DMS) on a European scale, allowing dismantling centers to optimize their productivity and profitability while respecting the new regulatory frameworks.
- Accelerate the distribution of reused parts on a European scale by strengthening the quality of the offer and by developing new services.
- Rely on The Future Is NEUTRAL, the parent company of INDRA, to consider new outlets, such as remanufactured parts.

TO GO FURTHER
A reused parts market boosted by a favorable context In line with past years, the European market for parts from the circular economy (PIEC) is expected to continue to grow at a significant rate, almost doubling by 2030*. This dynamic is driven by:
– Sustained growth in the price of new parts, encouraging people to turn to cheaper alternatives like PIEC;
– The aging of the fleet reinforces the need for PIEC parts, which are by nature particularly suitable for old vehicles;
– Legislation requiring repairers to offer PIEC to end customers;
– The positioning of insurers as prescribers, as much for an economic objective as for an approach to reducing environmental impact.
The share of online sales is also expected to double, reaching two-thirds of sales in 2030*.
