KarKey USA Formally Launches National Automotive Parts Marketplace After Successful Soft Launch

KarKey USA has formally launched its national automotive parts marketplace, giving professional repairers, dealerships, fleets and warranty providers a single VIN-matched search for recycled, remanufactured, reconditioned and OE new parts. The platform aims to improve sourcing accuracy, reduce repair delays and expand access to verified, warrantied recycled components across the United States.

A VIN-matched recycled parts marketplace connecting repair shops, dealerships, fleets, and extended warranty companies with recycled, remanufactured, reconditioned, and OE new parts in a single search formally launches following two years of proven operations.

ADDISON, Texas, September 8, 2026 KarKey USA (Cunningham Automotive, LLC) today announced the full national launch of the KarKey automotive parts marketplace, a first-of-its-kind platform that brings every part solution to a technician’s fingertips through a single, VIN-matched search. Following a successful soft launch on September 1, 2024, with select OEM manufacturers, and two full years of operational refinement, KarKey is now formally open to professional repair facilities, dealerships, fleet operators, and extended warranty companies across the United States.

One search. Every part solution. Matched to your exact vehicle. The KarKey platform returns results across four types Recycled, Remanufactured, Reconditioned, and OE New all matched by Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) and OEM part number, not generic interchange codes. This level of precision has not previously existed in a single, accessible platform in the American automotive parts market.

Wade Hilburn, President, KarKey USA, said:

“Used car sales are at all-time highs, and vehicle financing is stretching to 72 and 84 months. People are asking their cars to go the distance, and their cars are asking the same question back: where are the parts going to come from when I need them?

KarKey answers that question. One search, every option, matched to your exact vehicle. The right part, at the right price, found faster than ever before.”

A New Category of Parts Platform

The automotive parts market in the United States is large, fragmented, and slow to change. Repair shops routinely contact multiple recyclers, check open marketplaces, and make phone calls a process that consumes time and still frequently results in the wrong part or an unverified source.

Open marketplaces carry no quality standard, no warranty ownership, and no product liability coverage for the individual transaction. KarKey was built to solve all three problems simultaneously.

Every part sold through the KarKey platform is sourced through KarKey’s authorized network of quality-vetted recycling facilities and suppliers. KarKey manages the warranty on every transaction with recycled parts, carrying a minimum 12-month / 12,000-mile coverage and backs every sale with product liability insurance coverage.

The KarKey platform matches parts to vehicles using OEM part numbers and VINs the same precision standard used by franchised dealerships — rather than the interchange-code matching that powers most aftermarket search tools. This distinction matters: interchange matching identifies parts that may fit a class of vehicles.

VIN-plus-OEM-part-number matching identifies the exact part for the exact vehicle, unlocking more options, more pricing competition, and faster sourcing for every repair. When every available option surfaces in a single search, repairers spend less time hunting and more time helping customers.

Market Opportunity

Mechanical total losses vehicles declared economically unrepairable not because of what is wrong with the car, but because the right part cannot be found at the right price are rising alongside vehicle age and parts costs. With the average US vehicle fleet now at a record 12.6 years old, used car sales at historic highs, and financing terms stretching to 72 and 84 months, more Americans than ever are depending on their existing vehicles to last. KarKey exists precisely at this intersection: the moment when an aging vehicle needs a repair and a verified, affordable part needs to be found quickly.

KarKey operates at the intersection of three trends that are simultaneously accelerating: the aging American vehicle fleet, the automotive industry’s growing commitment to sustainability and circular parts economics, and the digitization of parts procurement.

The KarKey platform is purpose-built to serve all three.

Unlocking Sustainability™

KarKey’s trademark mission Unlocking Sustainability™ reflects the company’s core conviction that recycled OEM parts are not a compromise. They are a smarter, more sustainable choice for vehicle owners, repair professionals, and the environment. A recycled part that extends the life of a vehicle displaces the energy and materials required to manufacture a new component. At scale, the KarKey platform represents a meaningful contribution to the reduction of automotive waste and the extension of vehicle service life across the American fleet.

How KarKey Works

The KarKey platform is accessible at www.karkeyusa.com and is designed for use by:

KarKey manages all order fulfillment, invoicing, warranty claims, and customer service for every transaction. The KarKey platform does not list safety restraint components or any parts subject to active federal or manufacturer safety recalls.
