LKQ Atracco, a leading supplier of quality-controlled used original parts, is expanding its operations in Norway to meet the growing demand for its products. The company announced the opening of a new warehouse in Moss, adjacent to its existing facility, which will take place in spring 2024.
With over 120,000 parts currently in stock at the Moss warehouse, the new facility will significantly increase LKQ Atracco’s storage capacity to 420,000 parts. This expansion will enable the company to offer a wider range of parts, improve production capacity, and increase the number of disassembly locations. As a result, customers will benefit from a larger selection of ready-to-deliver, quality-controlled parts.
This expansion is expected to have positive impacts on various stakeholders. The increased storage capacity will create new jobs, while customers across the board – from professional workshops and insurance companies to individual car owners – will enjoy the benefits of a wider parts selection. Additionally, the increased availability of used parts contributes to environmental sustainability by promoting reuse and reducing the need for new parts production, potentially lowering the environmental impact by up to 75%.
