Ernesto Salas has declared:
“I consider that this handover occurs at a very important moment since the European Commission is about to start the processing of a new Regulation on the management of vehicles at the end of their useful life, 20 years after the publication of the Directive. I face this challenge with great enthusiasm and with the aim that Spain continues to be a benchmark in this field in the European Union.”
The members of the Board of Directors and the General Assembly of SIGRAUTO expressed their gratitude for the work carried out by Carlos Mataix as president of the Association in the last 15 years, where he has played a fundamental role thanks to his conciliatory spirit that has allowed consensus to be found among the sectors represented in SIGRAUTO are vehicle manufacturers and importers, scrappers and fragmentation and post-fragmentation facilities.
