Paul Dietz comes from the RDW, where he has held various leadership positions. He is currently Division Manager Supervision & Assessment. In this position, he manages 750 employees, who are involved in, among other things, the supervision of all approval holders, for example for carrying out the APK (The General Periodic Inspection that is a legally required inspection in Europe to promote road safety and protect the environment). At ARN, Paul Dietz, together with 300 recycling partners, will be working on high-quality and responsible car recycling.

With Paul Dietz, ARN will have an experienced general manager with expertise and a broad network in the field of mobility. He is used to dealing with divergent interests. In addition, ARN and the RDW have many similarities; both implementing bodies have been working closely and closely together for many years. He said:

“I look forward to further developing sustainable car and car battery recycling together with all stakeholders involved. I am happy to use my experience gained in service provision in my new position at ARN. My heart beats faster with cars and especially the direct link with sustainability is very intriguing for me personally, which makes this job extra relevant.”
