Paul Dietz will take up office as General Manager of ARN, the Netherlands based national network of car dismantling companies, on April 18, 2022. He is the successor of Ingrid Niessing, who announced her departure on October 28, 2021.
Paul Dietz comes from the RDW, where he has held various leadership positions. He is currently Division Manager Supervision & Assessment. In this position, he manages 750 employees, who are involved in, among other things, the supervision of all approval holders, for example for carrying out the APK (The General Periodic Inspection that is a legally required inspection in Europe to promote road safety and protect the environment). At ARN, Paul Dietz, together with 300 recycling partners, will be working on high-quality and responsible car recycling.
With Paul Dietz, ARN will have an experienced general manager with expertise and a broad network in the field of mobility. He is used to dealing with divergent interests. In addition, ARN and the RDW have many similarities; both implementing bodies have been working closely and closely together for many years. He said:
